What is PPEC?
Prescribed Pediatric Extended Care is a program of center-based care staffed by nurses, caregivers, and therapists providing the continual nursing and therapy needs of a child while in an environment that is conducive to enhancing physical and social outcomes

What do I need to do so my child can attend a Pediatria center? 
A child must have a prescription from their doctor identifying a diagnosis/condition that deems the center’s care medically necessary. Please contact your local center director for more details.

How does Pediatria train the nurses that come into our home?
Pediatria has our nurses complete a skills lab at orientation that exhibits their qualifications to take care of your child. In addition, we continually provide training and instruction to all our clinical staff. Please call your local Private Duty Nursing director for more information.

What payment sources do you work with for coverage?
We can work with private insurance, Medicaid, Medicare, and private pay.

Am I too far away to receive Pediatria’s service?
Even if you do not live in the same county as our nursing location or a center please call the location closest to you as we can provide services in many counties surrounding our offices.
